Creaking noise when braking at low speeds

When I depress the brake pedal at low speeds there is a creaking noise that seems to come from the rear of the car. It only happens though when the car is coming to a stop, and it varies with the amount of pressure on the brake pedal. I recently turned the front brake rotors, and the back need it too, if that has anything to do with it. Thanks in advance for your help

I would say pads but also rotors

sorry another thing i forgot to mention- it dosent make noise when braking in reverse- weird huh

not really weird, cause i am sure you arent going to fast when you are going backwards and braking juts to hear the noise...

On the front suspension, the lower rear bushings are a know problem on the CTS, do a search for more info, there was a service note on this problem. Also jack up the front and move each wheel left to right. If there is any play or movement, look at the tie rods, there wear out periodically. I had both these problems and it made the same sound when I stoped at low speeds.
