Where is the turn signal flasher located on a 2006 CTS and how do you access it.

It's a little black box just above the foot brake. It doesnt take too much contortion-ism to reach it.

It is the mod for disabling daytime running lights, but it's the same module that controls the turn signals.

Mike, the only way I can think of for making it not as loud. Is to buy some weather stripping and wrap I around the module. Of course your going have to figure out how to mount it.

once you pull the module out of its little cubby hole, it is near impossible to put it back in anyway. I just stuffed mine back up there and let it hang.

btw, I don't think it is that loud, I can barely hear it. Maybe it resonates inside its little compartment, and pulling it out of there might be what made mine quiet.
