The vehicle has gone from the dry semi-cold winters of AZ to the hot and humid spring/summer of TX. Although it is a small non-performance mod, I'm satisfied with it. When I went to get the ECM replaced at Cadillac last month, even the associate complimented on the appearance of it. I guess white gauges are offered on 2nd generation CTS. Easy application overall... |

I tried to remove the indicator needle and I couldn't do it, I thought the needles were glued on. Did you have to remove the original face? and do the lights shine through?
Let us know. Looks Great by the way!! |

Simple install...45 minutes including drying time. They are vinyl so it's wet and squeegee (hope I spelled that right). You just remove the assembly from the dash (cadillacfaq.com). Then remove the torx screws holding the assembly together. From there, it's a snap. As far as needle removal, there is no need. The center cutout allows for the overlay to slide right through it. I had to do it twice because the first time I didn't use enough soapy water outta fear of toasting the electronics in the cluster...thx! Glad somebody asked for night pics...I had to fill up before class tomorrow! |

Does it make a huge difference on how the overall interior color "works together" ? Meaning, the gauges are white now and the rest of the interior lighting is the yellowish/orange. |

its about 180 bucks, I am sure there are lots of other manufacturers out there.
they are pretty easy to produce. if we buy a pair and send it out to that decal guy (the one that makes the cadillac skull logo) i am sure he could gen up a few for us pretty cheap.
edit: the name of the guy was "8th day"
I remember doing this years ago for the grand prix guys. we put all sorts of neat stuff on there. the guages themselves, different fonts, all sorts of colors, logos, hell even a fire background.

Instead of the Green, Orange, White combo. Has anyone ever done this? Is it even possible? | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
