NAM, totally custom. Took apart the factory radio and cut out a double din size hole in the face plate of the factory radio. And cut the daughter board about a cm just below the connections to the dials... you'll see what I am talking about.
Currently, I hooked up the factory's wires expect for the audio plug. Which I believe is the middle one, second connector in
this.
I also used the drain wires only, not the "ground" wires. Too me it sounds better and better volume control. I don't know why, but it is what it is. This is so I could keep the steering wheel buttons as they are for right now. Though I am planing on working it differently. Like using the GMOS, just to keep the chimes and onstar. Because like I said above, the factory amp does all that. You just need the factory radio to use the onstar's button on the steering wheel. And plan on using my own aftermarket amp, hence why I would need the GMOS for chime and onstar.
