Wipers / Driver Side Spoiler

The dealer had recently replaced the wipers on a 2003 CTS. I am not sure he installed the driver side blade with the spoiler correctly. Should the spoiler be facing up or should it be facing down?

As i remember, it faces up. I replaced mine years ago with the new style(no springs) and they don't have the spoiler. I don't think it's needed nor does it matter. the new style is better in that snow wont collect in the springs in the winter.

Wipers with spoilers are much more effective at speeds over 200 mph. LOL

Spoiler down. I thought that was wrong, but I saw a factory picture, and it does go down.
