If there's nothing obvious to tighten down you'd be left adding some sound proofing material and probably hunting a new HL. I understand how annoying rattles can be, but chasing down the cause of a rattle can be tough.
After having those huge subs thumping in your vehicle for so long it's no surprise you've developed some rattles. I'm just saying. Perhaps you should install another sub and turn up the volume. |
thanks for the comment, i appreciate it.
i will still try to take the HL off, once its off, i will see if there is anything in my power
to lessen the popping noise!
i do not think attempting to solve a problem is a waste of time!
If i find the solution, that'll be great!, however if i don't attempt to fix the problem,
MY subconscious will pester me each time i hear the noise!
i rather try to fix it, and if i can't, then i will proceed to the next step and buying a new hL.
this way, i won't fall under the category of a conscious objector.
i don't like leaving anything that needs to be fixed, unfixed
Putting another sub will not fix the problem, but rather it will only hide it.
when something falls in my kitchen, i don't toss it under the refrigerator!
if i were to put subs again it will only hide to noise, not fix it
i find it to be a similar principle!
AVOIDING THE ISSUE!
