Alpine wiring with DIC

Hey does anyone know how to wire an Alpine unit with the DIC screen? If you know can you break it down shot gun style? I mean barney! I think its only a few wires that need to connected but im not sure. Thanks

Maintain the original control unit wire the dic into that then use a wiring harness to the harness comming out of the original control unit and the harness comming out of the alpine unit

If you are hooking the new head to the factory AMP:

Wire the new head with 12v, ACC, and earth. Take the audio wires off the factory unit, and splice them careful to a good quality RCA cable(monster). Then just plug the pre-outs from the new head into the factory audio(now RCA), and use a noise filter between the two sets of RCA connectors.

Total cost of install: under $20

Retains: Everything apart from XM and RAP. If you want RAP find a RAP feed and attach it to the ACC line on the new head.
