Finally got a chance to check my CTS's. I removed the airbox in The wife's 05' Caddy and found it closes tight against the A\C air filter element...no leaks possible!

Removed the airbox in my 05' CTS, it appears to have a wider opening on one side. However the A\C filter also seals well against both the upstream and downstream housings all around...no leakage problems!!
