    Exhaust note with V exhaust on 3.6L

    I looking at getting a CTS-V exhaust.. people like the exhaust note from it on a 3.6L? Anyone know where i can find an audio file?

    not to jack your post or anything, but I don't want to start a thread just about this since it is a similar topic.
    Why is it ok for us to slap on a V exhaust on? I mean they have a completely different engines, and not a bit different, I mean it's a V8 and we have a V6?
    I'm not trying to insult anyone, I am truly curious. Sorry if this is a stupid question.
    What's stopping me from welding on a M5 exhaust then?

    nice response.. think last poster forgets how good the v exhausts looks.. and not a fart cannon on the back.

    I dunno...the V tips are awfully small, and oval...not my taste.

    Guys like the V exhuast because it bolts on with a fair bit of ease, with little to no modification needed, a good muffler guy should be able to do this with ease..
    In theory, nothing would stop you from bolting up an M5 exhuast, if it fit...which isnt likely...

    Well, my V6 SHO sounded best with Edelbrock mufflers that were for a 454SS Chevy pickup...
