I agree.
Mozilla Firefox browser comes standard with a spell checker.
So, that's probably why.

I do understand what you mean. But somehow and sometimes the level of your grammar and spelling also reflects how serious you will be taken in a discussion.

Re: One of the best Spelling forums on the net!!!

i think we are all getting a bit too technical. all english professors yield! i think we put down what we need to get the subject stated, and if we are comprehedable, what does grammar matter.

Grammar matters to those of us who don't care to appear ignorant. The dumbing-down of America is pathetic.

I take pride in the fact that I worked hard enough in school to naturally spell well and put together congruent sentences. It just comes naturally now.

Re: One of the best Spelling forums on the net!!!

this is a forum!! 90% of the correct grammar is omitted, even by those who say they are using it. if we followed all of the rules we would spend alot of time on editing. even the best writers make errors.

YEa, Ive noticed this as well. Quite a few of the people here who say proper grammar is neccessary, use poor grammar frequently. Its the nature of the net. Poor grammar is excusable on the internet. Poor spelling is not.
