Re: Aftermarket Sunroof

An experienced installer is more important than what brand you decide on. I wouldn't take my vehicle to any run of the mill colision shop for sunroof installation. If the install isn't done correctly you will have wind noise and leaking. Ask about experience before deciding on an installer. IMHO

Re: Aftermarket Sunroof

I phoned into one of the Webasto dealers and it's 1500 for a dual sunroof, and 1200 for a regular (installed, and all features like rain sensor and bla bla bla (might as well get the features because there is only a $100 diffrence)
The sh__ty part though, is that it will not look stock. (The way she put it is: "some one who knows sunroofs will be able to see that it's aftermarket, someone who doesn't, wont.
They say that OEM sunroofs are stamped in at the production line. This sunroof, however, will have a lip around the edges, that although will not stick up, is still a black lip going around the sunroof.

So, What do you guys think? Yay or Nay?
