I can buy an X Pipe, Mufflers, Tips, and Cats for like $300-400. A catback system is basically that stuff but with piping. Why does it cost $1200??? It doesn't make sense to me.. |

You know where your cats end, all the piping from the end of the cats to your tips is a cat back exhaust system.
That is why it's more expensive then just mufflers. |

just stainless steel piping alone would probably cost almost 200 bucks. |

Imagine if we had a tunning parts maker like Lorinson or Brabus is for Mercedes?
Their parts cost an arm and a leg. |

magnaflow makes me think of f150 and dodge ram trucks. but i'm sure they sound nice with a good resonator, not so sure about an xpipe and magnaflo mufflers. might not sound like a cadillac anymore, or might sound like one that needs new mufflers. |

You can do the whole thing for around 300 dollars and still get 30% better flow.
