Im pretty new to the forum, but over the few months i have owned my car i have searched every website, including this one,and cant find that many aftermarket parts . Am i not looking in the right spots, or do they just not exist. I got an 05 cts, i did all the tinting, lights, and grille, but is that all we got?
why dont they make aftermarket tail lights? or even headlights?
thanks |

The first is that the market is small because the car has limited sales. The other is that Cadillac owners are notorious tightwads. They cry the blues about wanting add-on accessories but when asked to produce the cash they disappear; a lot of big talk but no customers. Too many ghetto fabulous Cadillac owners.

Forget all the aftermarket bling and what not, lets all just concentrate on something simple. All i ask for is an aftermarket radio panel that encorporates the DIC. I bought this car because it had decent gas milage and nice styling, plus the ladies love it and we all know that why we bought it, not to make a honda, i dont need to drive under semis and race johnny tran. |

Thats what saying, for example more hood options like dubb said would be nice, all of us are not rolling in the dough cause we drive a caddy lol so i cacnt really afford a 1500 dollar hood. I like the black tail lights, not the tinted ones, cause again, those are illegal, but something such as these( grant it obviously ones that would fit our car) would look real sexy
i mean can you i did all the other mods you can do, except rims, cause again, money.any suggetions? thanks |

And really you guys (CTS) are not that bad. The prices are pretty high!
Try owning an 87-92 Supra. They literally cry over $300 for a part (Fuel injectors @ #375 for a set of 6)! Group buys are none existant because they always say they are intrested but when the time comes to pony up the cash.... crickets.
And I know about paying!
Hell my Standalone system is worth about double than what I paid for my 1987 Supra back in 1994 ($8000) along with custom 1 off parts that I HAD to get made for my particular build (ATI Super damper when there was none. I got them manufacturing them). Etc. |

| So true, even I do that. Damn.
I would love some taillights, like a led strip like the STS has for aftermarket from D3.
Also, some body kits that don't cost 5 million dollars would also be nice. D3 has a nice body kit, but it's way to expensive for me and anyone else so it seems. |

You just have to do the right search.
Broaden your search by remembering that Cadillac was not the only vehicle powered by a HF/AlloyTec. Which started it's design over seas, and is shared by many Holden/Vauxhall cousins.
There are even free horsepower being found for these engines.
A larger bore TB has been done, headers are made(but may need to be modified to fit 'Caddy), PCM upgrades, ported intake manifolds, performance oriented spark plugs, upgrade mass air, etc.....
Suspension upgrades are out there as well.
As for body mods, anything can be done with a little elbow grease or contacting the right shop.
