    Oil Change on 2.8L

So i've searched around and can't find a thread on this. I found the thread on the 3.6 Oil Change but i'm guessing this is probably different.
I don't think it should be too hard but i'm going to do my first oil change in the coming weeks and wanted to get some info like where is the oil filter on our engine.
    And any other advice, tips?

    THanks in Advance

The oil change is easy, but you will need a jack and some jack stands. What I do, is jack up the drivers side of the car (since the drain is on the passenger side, drains better) and put the jack stand on the frame on the drivers side. I keep the jack there also as a back up for the jack stand. I slide under the front of the car under the bumper and drain the oil and then lower the car.The oil filter is on top drivers side to the right of the oil filler cap. You will need a socket (forget what size) and it wouldnt hurt to buy a torque wrench (bought mine for under $40 at auto parts store) to tighten to spec. Its very, easy.

Here is a pic of my engine bay (after I de-greased it).

if you have curbs at your house you can do what i do...no jacks, put 2 wheels on the curb and go under,,,little safer...just parallel park it from your driveway onto the curb without gettin any rash on your rims, my curbs are rounded so i dont have to worry about that. and i changed my drain plug so i dont have to mess with that torques, its just a normal wrench head now, much nicer and the torques gets stripped easy.

It's been almost 5 years, I think he figured it out. At least I hope so.
