Which Vendor to buy Ipod Interface from?

Hello, I am new to this forum and figured I would support a vendor that supports this forum.

I have a 2005 CTS with XM, no NAV.

Which vendors sell the ipod interface? I know ebay does but figured I would try here first.

Welcome aboard, Rigo. Thank you for signing up! That's very thoughtful of you to consider purchasing from one of our vendors first before going elsewhere. I'm not quite sure who sells iPod interfaces.. I'd check with one of our Cadillac Dealerships.. I'm sure they must have the pieces. Look at the ad cubes on the right side. There are a few dealerships located there.

Just to let you know I bought an Ipod interface (supposedly the best) from Lock Pick Solutions. I bought this in May 2008. It still hasn't arrived.

I'm not trying to discredit their company but... well, yeah. I am actually.

Don't know if anyone on here sells them, but I just installed the USA Spec PA11-Vette kit & I'm loving it. There's a couple threads on here about it & in the V forum as well & lots of topics about it if you Google it. I'd be more than happy to help anwer any questions you might have if you decide to go with that one. It took me close to a month to decide which interface I was going to go with! Now that I have it installed, I don't know how I lived without it!!!

Oh, and I have an 04 w/XM & no Nav.

Funny, when I talked with you on the phone back in May, you said you mistakenly sent me an interface for an Escalade and that you were really sorry and you would overnight the correct piece as soon as it came in stock. Then, a month later, you said you just had sent out the correct part. THEN, another month later, you said you had just finished making the harness and would send it out that day. That was over two weeks ago, buddy.

But hey, selective amnesia affects us all, right? It's not like I can get my money back now, so I guess you win this time. Just don't expect your other customers who consider $130 a lot of money to be so nonchalant about it.

look, I want to keep this matter very civil and professional. I don't want to talk about amnesia & common sense.(you said you never recieved product)
I propose, send everything back to me for a full refund. I don't want you to sit on something that you have no use for it.

It is true I never received the product I ordered, but that isn't really what concerns me. What i can't understand is why you're offering to give me a refund for what i clearly can't use. What would you offer this refund? You've already told me several times that you've made what I want and have already sent it to me multiple times. Considering the cost (on your part) for these extra harnesses which have been "sent" to me, you've already lost money on this deal. Offering a refund would be foolish on your part. And given the time frame of this entire fiasco, I would say that a refund is a bit too late. Now, I've been pretty lenient in this whole process, waiting months for a final outcome. I think the only reconciliation we can have on this matter would be for you to just follow through. How hard could that be? If you are too reluctant to do that, I could always trade my CTS for an Escalade. Then I'll be able to enjoy my Ipod in my vehicle!

We can take this to PM's at any time.

look, I don't want you and me to look like 2 high school girls. it will take us nowhere, plus more people are just about to jump into this, just for a hell of it. lets just forget about what happened, and start brand new. just tell me, what can i do for you, so you can say later " yes I did have issue with him, but he took care of it"

Yeah, the thread-jack was unintentional but inevitable.

I just want an Ipod Lockpick module that will work in a Cadillac CTS with an XM receiver. I believe this is exactly what Gattaca is looking for.

What I have is an Ipod Lockpick module for a Cadillac Escalade. This will not work for my CTS, so what do I need from you?

ok, module that you have is universal, works on almost any GM vehicle 2002 & up. it has dip switches on the side, so depends on you vehicle year and options, You make selections ( I will guide you through it later)
now, there are 2 type of harnesses. one is through XM tuner and one is through radio ( they are different depens on the year of your vehicle). even if you don't have XM tuner, i think on 2005 & up CTS's harness is already there. (99% of the time)
so, which harness do you want? just let me know. I send it to you and then you send me other one back

I'm only going on what you told me was a harness for an Escalade. Not sure what I have but I can physically plug it into the XM receiver in the rear deck. When I do that, however, the radio gets no XM connection or signal. You told me it was the wrong cable and I would have to physically change pins around, or you could just send me one. I assumed the module was universal, and it was just a matter of a different cable harness.

so you do have XM tuner?
