    WoodGrain Raido?

    So im bidding on a woodgrain radio on ebay to start a carputer. is that just a cover that can be removed? i dont have woodgrain so im trying to see if i can just remove it or if i have to sand it down before I paint it.

    I would assume that it is a cover, and u could just remove it... Who knows what color it is underneath...any pics?

    sorry no pics of it, std woodgrain radio, id assume it would be the black under the radio with the "rubber" coating removed.

    I removed the woodgrain on mine, it was ugly underneath. I couldn't get all the glue off. i wound up ordering the Brushed Aluminum kit to cover it. It looks great now.

    that might turn out to be the plan but with that black chrome cover kit. just depends after i mold in the screen on the carputer
