I just had my Xm turned on and the volume is way to low! Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it? any help would be greatly appreciated
It is a 2005 cts without navigation

Is this all factory equipment? I think I remember reading a TSB on this.
Are you still under factory warranty?

Yeah, thought so:The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in the PI.
Some Cadillac CTS and SRX customers with a U2R (CD radio) may report that the XM volume is lower than the CD or other radio bands. Engineering has determined that the radio software is the root cause and the radio will need to be replaced.
Note: Specmo Enterprises is the only Authorized Electronic Service Center that stocks these exchange radios.
Engineering has suggested the following to help make the concern less noticeable for the customer.
Use the tone control presets.
Create a preset for the XM channels that increase base, treble and mid range.
Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
