    I'm running 245/40R19s and there is still alot of room in the back (which will be eaten up when I throw the Intrax springs on...
    but 225/55/16 is same size as 245/35/19 though. Besides i'm getting it lowered a little so i should probably go with stock size

    if you go to a larger tire on the rear, what do you do about rotating your tires??

    You don't rotate your tires.
    Just like on the SRX and the upcoming STS w/ sport package.

    It's up to you, ultimately. I think the stock 16" tires/wheels look too small on the CTS, with gobs of wheel well space. Even with my 245/40R19's I think there's too much space.

    Imagine going almost 1" shorter! These are supposedly 26.6" tall. 245/35R19's are about 25.7" tall...But again, it's up to you:

    17x7.5 = 51mm offset.
    18x8 = 51mm offset.

    based on this, the V wheels would stick out .6" more than factory. Should work great.

    8.5". Which I used in my calcs...

    51mm to 42mm = 9mm farther out = .35" farther out.
    8" wheel to 8.5" wheel means .25" farther out
    total .60" farther out than stock...

    I would NOT go more than 8.5" in the front. The upper spindle is very close to the tires already.

    You could theoretically go larger in the back, is that what you want? - larger in the rear?

    And running what size tire? Unless you run a wider tire, there's no reason to go an extra .5" in width. However, if you do run a larger tire, with 245 width in front, you'd want to run 275 width in rear (to keep the same tire height):::

    ie., 245/40R19 and 275/35R19

    And if you do that, the 275 width tire really needs a 9.5" width...

    Will 9.5" width fit? I don't know, yet...I'm planning after all my other mods, to go to some MM EV-Rs, 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear (with above tires), but until I do I don't know if 9.5 will fit in the rear...
