AC not working

Remove this ad
My latest issue is that the air conditioner quit working, and of course yesterday was the 1st day this spring we hit 80 degrees! I checked for blown fuses, anybody got any other ideas on things to check? Have an appt. with dealer for fri. to check out. Is the compressor/clutch on the 3.2 all one unit or can they be replaced separately. Gotta get out my Helm manuals tonight to see if there's anything else I can check.

Re: AC not working

too many factors in the a/c system for "ideas". in the case of a/c inop could be electrical, mechanical or a freon issue, and then each of those has many factors, wiring, switches , a/c lines, power/grounds,control head communications etc....

Re: AC not working

maybe a better side to that is.... i have not seen a "common" expensive problem on these vehicles, compressors of course would be a high priced item but beleive it or not the lines and freon are really not that bad, electrical ...well...once again depends
