Added the Avic-D3 unit to the factory deck

And was able to keep the factory amp pushing the factory speakers as well as control volume through steering wheel controls and keep DIC and onstar

did you have to solder and everything to fit this unit? because that write up doesnt used an avic d3 unit.. seems like it would be way different

12v , Ground, Positive and Negative speaker leads are the only thing you should be looking at on that write-up.
I got mines exactly as pictured and it worked without a problem.
