Rear Light Panel color change?

hey guys, i have a black '03 CTS with the grey panel in the back and i wanted to get it the same color as my car but the ones for sale on ebay are like 5 bills.
thats disgusting.
I know theres bezels some of u have that look dope but they are pricey too i think.
I was wondering if theres any other way i can change it, like maybe paint it or something?
obviously i wouldnt do it, but is it possible to make it lok good somehow?

Painting it would be fine, as well. There are covers you can buy too, Tommy Compton has one, you can see it in his thread about brakes.

The best looking version, imho, is what BigBlock posted, tho. OEM ftw!
