Question 2004 Cadillac Cts Fuse Box?

Remove this ad
Anyone knows where the fuse box is located?

I am trying to use the cigarette lighter to connect my phone charger/ipod charger.

I found the fuse box under the hood and the cigarrete lighter relay was missing. I bought a new one and put in. Lighter still not working. Im thinking the previous owner might have been a non-smoker and removed all fuses.

Any help would be appreciATED!

What about the outlet in the rear seat? Does it work? That's controlled by a fuse named " outlet " Center Console Accessory Power Outlet

Re: 2004 Cadillac Cts Fuse Box?

I pulled my relay named " cigar relay" and it kills both lighters. I don't see a fuse for those. Is it possible, your new relay is defective? Try swaping with another one.

Re: 2004 Cadillac Cts Fuse Box?

No fuses that I can see.
The previous owner may have had a problem with that circuit and resolved it by pulling the relay. You may want to try and look into the vehicle history to see if there is service tickets on it.

I guess I'd go under the dask with a meter and try and find another wire that has 12v when the car is turned on, maybe the radio power wire and tap off of there to get 12 v. Use caution, you have to be sure it turns off when the car is off and that it doesn't interfere with the operation of anything else.
