Hey there, did you ever get that V bumper installed? Did the fogs work out? I ask baecause I'm going to attempt the same deal in just about an hour or so. Any advice would help if you ran into any other issues. Was hole #2 used? There was not any mention of that. Thanks!

yeah, I am sure once you are looking at it for yourself you will figure it out.....

I am in the process of doing the Cts V swap...been a walk in the park.......it's just a little more complicated than doing a oil change if that helps....

Also, cover up everything with tap or a plastic/paper so ya dont scratch anything.....I have the front end of the car sitting on 2 foot long jackstands so I dont have to be bending over.....much easy to work on...

I've driven with just 2 screws holding each bracket for 2 weeks now and there is no rattle. The fog rests against against a rubber liner firmly. I've seen one other member do the same thing as me.

I took the bumper off again today to put in HID lights and my new license plate bracket. It took two of us about 15 minutes this time to remove and about 20 minutes to put back. We put a bed sheet in front of the car to rest the bumper on.

Sport grille with V bumper is beautiful!

Hey gaugeguru so for the v-bumper upgrade you don't need the long list of parts thats all over these forums. I read you need the bumper, R and L bumper extension, lower air deflector, U and L mesh grill, R and L fog lamps. If not then what parts do I really need because ive been saving up for all these parts and its going to be alot of money. If you or anyone can help me out.

So that means i would be able to use my original air deflector and besides the fog lamps i wouldnt have to rig anything else right.

That's right. Just buy two stainless machine screws with nuts / lock washers and you are set.
