Question for the wheel experts

Remove this ad
Hey guys, I put my rims on and the other day I had someone in my backseat and the started to rub when I took a sharp turn. I read that you can roll your fenders, but another person told me to change my suspension in the back. Anyone got an idea of which is easier?

I have 20" rims with a +38 offset, on 245/35/20 tires.

Thanks

Re: Question for the wheel experts

The easiest way to solve your problem is to quit picking up the heavy chicks. The backseat just isn't cut out for it. Otherwise rolling your fenders will probably be the best way.

I absolutely agree, but next is gonna be a system. So id much rather just take care of the problem now, then have the subs weigh down the back.

Re: Question for the wheel experts

my car is lowered on 20"s 42 mm offset 245/35 tires even with three heavy people in the back i don't rub. but that's with modified fe3 load leveling rear shocks, but i also rolled my fenders just to be safe. when i had non' load leveling fe2's and fat dude in the back i would get slight rum over big dips in the road while traveling fast.
