A few questions regarding this ipod aux, first off will this work? I have a 06 cts with navigation and currently have XM radio activated, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...AQ:MOTORS:1123
My questions,
1-will it work?
2-Will my XM satellie stations still work? Does it use one of the radio stations that it has already? or does a new station show up on the screen?
3-Will the screen from the ipod and search features work on my navigation unit?
4-Can the movies on my ipod be displayed on the screen through this?
Thanks, I currently have a Belkin FM transmitter and it seems like I am listening to am radio stations sometimes... |

Guy who designed this kit I know him very well (worked with him on few projects). I've tried it. did not like how the software was written ( unless something was changed resently).
PS: in case somebody else want
samething, I can get them a lot cheaper then what they are going for on the internet |

If I would have known about yours I would have went with it...Can I upgrade or update software in the unit. Once I get this installed I'll be looking at a bluetooth connection for my mobile phone. Can you give me a description of how this works? I have onstar. |

Will I still be able to use your kit so that I don't have tons of wires going everywhere to power it and to run it through the tape deck... |

I need some input on what actually works in regards to an iPod connection. I have a nav non-bose setup with XM and I'm willing to spend the cash to get it done right.
I am PMing yourgmsolutions about a cheaper version of what LSCTS has linked.
LSCTS: Did you ever get that unit installed? What is the status?
Anyone else have any working iPod solution to share? |

I bought the USA Spec unit about a month ago. I installed it and it's been working fine since. There is a new "Hybrid" mode that is supposed to allow the Head Unit to display the artist/song info. Well, I found out that this mode does not work with Gen 3 iPods (I have an iPod touch). So, it displays the artist/song info, but you lose the ipod controls. The other mode works fine and you are able to still use the ipod controls while it is plugged in. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
