Welcome to my Mid-Life Crisis!

First off, thanks to everyone for all of the great advise. I've been a member for 3 weeks now and am completely addicted!!

Almost 2 years ago, I purchased my 06 Red Jewel 3.6L CTS w/ 6-Speed Manual Trans. I took a bunch of crap from my friends and coworkers about " driving an old man's car" This is how the car looked as of last week:





This past week, I turned 40. Needless to say I've never felt my age, but after a few mods to the "old man's CTS", I have a bunch of people asking me if I'm going thru a mid-life crisis.

Just installed:

• 18" Zinik Z5 Wheels with 245/45x18 General UHP's
• Rear Deck Spoiler
• Stainless Exhaust Tips

I just tell them they wouldn't understand!!!

The V-Grill and clear fogs are on the way. The drilled and slotted rotors will be ordered as soon as the brakes are gone. Future pics to come.

BTW good looking CTS, the rims are a bit extreme for my tastes but still look aight on the car!!

All and all, I'd say you're getting off pretty cheap if that's all for a mid-life crisis!

I agree! I have a 69 ss camaro I am restoring and 2 daughters. This will definately be the lowest cost of my issues!
