Where to buy a Rear deck spoiler

Hey guys, I like the shape of this spoiler! How ever I've found them from $99 to over $300, here's a couple from ebay! which one looks like the factory spoiler? Or is there any difference?

The more expensive one is an OEM (Original equipment manufacturer) and the cheaper one is not. Often the cheaper one can be the same but in this case i do not know.

Let me know how you make out. I am intersted in buying one for my CTS as well.

I just paid the extra money for the second one. I spoke to the guy several times and he assures me this is the exact spoiler from the same source that provides them to GM. He has been excellent to deal with. Mine should be here in a few days, so I can let you know what it looks like when it gets in.

There is absolutely no difference between the two except price. They are identical spoilers with the same templates. I have looked at a GM spoiler at the dealership with my parts guy, and I have ordered and seen the exact one listed above from Ebay...They are functionally, and qualatively identical. The paint is an exact match as well. hope this helps.

Mine arrived today. The finish is excellent and is a perfect match. The guy was excellent to deal with. In addition to the spoiler I bought a set of tips from him. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from him again. I'll let you know how it installs. Not excited about drilling 5 holes in the trunk lid!

Did you get the one that was $199? Did you call or email him before you ordered it?

I too was pretty scared to drill the holes in my trunk when I mounted my spoiler. Just make sure you double & triple check the layout of the template so everything looks good. I used a small center punch to make an indent at each hole before drilling to help prevent the drill bit from skidding across the paint. Also, invest in a good unibit step drill, it works great for drilling in sheet metal.

The spoiler adds a really aggressive look to the CTS I love mine.
