I too was pretty scared to drill the holes in my trunk when I mounted my spoiler. Just make sure you double & triple check the layout of the template so everything looks good. I used a small center punch to make an indent at each hole before drilling to help prevent the drill bit from skidding across the paint. Also, invest in a good unibit step drill, it works great for drilling in sheet metal. http://www.irwin.com/irwin/consumer/...rwinProd240001
Put some tape on paint prior to drilling; that will keep paint from flaking. Keeps drill from jumping and scratching. Your center punch is super idea.

I can confirm that WA994L is the proper code for your CTS.
Funny thing... I ordered this lip spoiler from the spoiler store on ebay and they sent me TWO of them by mistake! Idiots...
I'll sell my extra lip spoiler painted in WA994L (Light Platinum) to anyone wanting it for $50 + shipping.
When I put this M3 lip spoiler on my BMW there was no drilling required - they used a 3M tape product that sealed it perfectly - Any chance that would work on the CTS spoiler?
Ok , I dont really know what its called but its usually seen on BMW's and Mercedes but its like a rear window visor or some kinda of spoiler where it looks like its just the roof going further down the back window. Does anyone know what this part is called, if so please let me know what its called and if anyone knows where i can pick one of these up. Pics too please!
