$315 ???
Either that is a regular radio or someone is going to get fired. Seriously tho, make sure that it is a nav unit with a big LCD screen and that it says DVD on the top left of the face plate.
To use the navigation you need to have the nav DVD in the drive.
As for Zenrin discs, read here... http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums...nrin-disk.html |

I use the Zenrin DVD for Infinity's version 6.4 (or 6.5, don't recall exactly which), but they now have version 6.6 out now for $190. http://www.zenrin.com/cart/addCD.asp...&make=infiniti |

Just PM me your mailing address. The VSS is really only one wire with the correct terminal. You'll need to pull the instrument cluster and splice it into the existing VSS wire. Full instructions are over at CadillacFAQ, but I'm sure you already knew that. |

If it was from an 06 it would say DVD on the face plate. Also if it has carbon fiber on it... well hell I dont know what the hell it is then.
Not trying to burst your bubble, I just dont want you buying the wrong thing. And the price and description are, for sure, wrong!
EDIT: Also you can try Oddys VSS wire, but it did not fit into my 07 harness. I had to use another wire from a reverse VW harness with a diffrent looking connection and bent the hell out of it and get in it there... not exactly smooth, but works fine now. |

Call them back once more (if possible) and ask them if there is two drives on it, cause it should have a DVD drive and the 6 disc CD changer drive. Also ask how big the screen is on it.
Oh and last but not least, what part number were you using?
10373847 is black
10373846 is woodgrain
U2Y and U2X are navigation option codes.
For example my car has woodgrain and had a 10373846 radio.
Option code: U2S - AM/FM STEREO, 6 DISC CD CHANGER, BOSE SOUND SYSTEM (REPLACES STD/OPT PKG RADIO)
Now i have another 10373846 radio.
BUT different option code: U2X - AVEC System AM/FM Radio, MCD, DVD, Navigation, TV |

Hope it works out for you, that would be great to get one at that price and it's possible that you found a parts dealer that has no idea what it is worth.
Maybe it doesn't say DVD on it because someone put carbon fiber trim over it and it really is what he says it is. If thats the case thats still a great price. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
