So im going to go ahead and start the process of converting my regular cts bumper (Which i smashed the other day), to the sporty cts-v which i've been meaning to do for a while now. From the info I've collected on here i will be oredering: 1.Front fascia/bumper 2. Upperand lower Mesh grille's and 3. The Sts-V Fog's which i believe come with their own fog assemblies?? But anyway i will be ordering the part's tomm. and then basically im jus gonna bring everything to the local body shop, and have the bumper painted and installed. Hopefully all goes well, what do ya guyz think? |

Excited!! Feedback please! It's going to make the car look a million times better. I wouldnt have got my CTS if i couldnt do the V conversion, which got me thinking that maybe buying an STS for the same price (after mods) and throwing a v grill on it should have been the way to go. Decisions Decisions. |

Okay, so what exactly should i tell my body shop, i believe the 2 bottom hook up's on the fog assemblies have to be shaved down slightly, and the top 1 as well?? But they will fit......im sure they can figure it out and make it work anyway. Also im ordering the lower radiator/air deflecto, because i slid into a fence the other day and wen i bakked up it ripped off that plastic piece that hooks up from behind the bottom of the bumper and protects the radiator....I believe thats the lower air deflecto correct? Thanks guys you've all been a big help. |

Sounds like you are good. Only thing is the "lower radiator/air deflector" thing. I'm not sure you need that... Mostly because I never even heard of it! Unless that is the middle plastic liner under the engine? If so, you do not need that.
As for gmpartsdirect... lol. You might be waiting some time. Just search the forums for "gmpartsdirect time long order" or something like that. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
