| Blown Hid Ballast ? ?
My car was in an accident, so while it was being fixed I had Hid's put in the low beams & fogs. The installer zip tied the load resistor for my led turn signal to the Hid wires. As you can guess, the resistor burned through the Hid wire & blew the fuse. I replaced the fuse & re-spliced the wire's & the fog light doesn't work. I know the light is still good because tried it on the good side & it worked fine. Does anyone know how I would test the ballast to make sure that the unit isn't blown? Could it have something to do with how I spliced the lines? It's getting 12v's at the plug that goes into the ballast from the factory harness. Any help would be greatly appreciated! |
