That used to be true but not so much anymore. Unless you are damn near a professional driver an auto is going to win every time.

The thing a stick would help with though is holding the gears longer. If I could hold 3rd until 7000rpm I would easily shave .2 or .3 off my time.

Also, when I first started looking for a CTS I thought I wanted a stick. After having my auto I wont go back now. Des Moines is alot of stop and go and I dont want to deal with a stick. Call me lazy I guess.... LOL!
