Since I drive my car relatively nicely I will be laughing when Nick's differential and transmission go out on the CTS.
Well probably not laughing if it's the differential because that could be dangerous.

I will laugh a little but not if he got hurt from his differential failing. He has had his seal replaced anyway so I think that aspect will be fine.

Re: Videos of me bracket racing in the CTS

Nice vids.. with all that racing you ever have issues with parts breaking? I rarely push mine to redline in hope that I can finish school without any major repairs out of pocket.

Re: Videos of me bracket racing in the CTS

Good vids, here is some food for thought, for every 100 lbs you take out of a car you can expect about a .10 in the 1/4. For every .10 in the 60 foot your should see right around .15 in the 1/4 mile.

For the record, the Camaro SS was SLLLOOOWW for an LS1 car if you were running 14.90 on that pass. It must have minmal modifications or the driver needs the Driver mod.

Never had a problem racing. I have had a couple differential problems but that was when I was stock and didnt race. Had the diff replaced right before I went out of warranty and then had the pinion seals done after last winter.

The car should be able to take some speed. That is one of the things it is built for. Nels runs a SCed 3.2 on the race track and has had minimal problems.

I am sure times would have been better with better weather conditions.

Also, I wont be losing anywhere near 100lbs. I would be a twig if I did! LOL!

Cool vids!

I used my stock 17s. I am planning on Sport Edition KV5 18s from tire rack. They weigh in at 23lbs. Anyone know of any other good lightweight wheels?
