WD-40 will gum it all up. Use silicon spray lube.

I did this once on my other car. I believe I tried pushing up on the door latch and then at the same time pulled up on the door handle. Basically trying to release the door latch and push it back in place. That is assuming it was pushed up in the first place. Or if you are in the northeast with this cold, it is probably frozen. That happened to my Grand prix a few years ago when it was really cold. The lock mechanism froze, so I poured hor water on the door skin by the lock not in between the window or it'll freeze every time. Hope any of those help...Good Luck!

Did you get your problem fixed? I have a similar problem, unfortunately, my passenger door has locked and it is not opening from either inside and outside.

I had that problem once on a very cold day (LR door). I tried slamming it a couple times, and that didn't work, so I found that the latch in the door needed to be reset to the open position- just push it up, it clicks into place, and you're ready to go.

I had the same problem today. Im trying to close my LR door and it looks like the door latch is frozen, probably because i had my car washed this morning and it was not dry properly then parked it outside with -38 temperature!.
