New to the Board and UPSET..please help

I was going to buy a CTS before the Conquest rebate ended...I was told by the salesman that they would extend it after the end date, so I did not act.

Now I did not get the $1500 off and there is no rebate NOW!

    That SUCKS!

anybody know of any good news of anything coming up so I can get one?

    Thanks in advance

I am sure there will be other rebates/incnetives.
CTS sales were down 17% in April, so they will have to do something to perk them up again.

Rebate programs do differ by region, but the conquest rebate is still in effect in the Northeast Region until June 2, 2004. Give me a call if you want to discuss.

$1500 conquest rebate is still in effect in South Central Region , as well as the $1400 Down Payment Assistance on 48 month leases.

CTS's were down based on April 2003, which was a GREAT, unusual month for CTS's because there was 0% for 60 months on them back in April 2003. Sales overall were not down.

    Food for thought:

Cashmere is discontinued for 2005. Sand Storm replaces it. Probably similiar, but could be different enough that you won't like.

The longer you wait (for 2004 model) the less units will be available. You risk not getting exactly what you want. The 2004 is no longer being produced. What is at dealership lots here and in the next two weeks is it. After two weeks, no more come in.

CTS sales still soar. I can't see anything "big" coming out that that would be worth possibly losing the chance to get what you want. There *might* be a certificate program again, but dealerships only get a certain number of those and tend to use them sparingly (like to sell devilles, sevilles, SRXs, etc). Heck, last year when the 2004 came out, the 2003's had the SAME incentives as the 2004 - they weren't any better (sucked for us trying to move the 2003s, but we only had a couple left anyway).

Plain and simple, IMHO, if you want to be guaranteed a decent discount and rebates, act know. But if you really want the 6 speed manual, be prepared for not having any rebates and lower discounts...but again, just MHO.

Just remember that it's not the best deal if you get an additional $1000 off the car, but are forced to take a car that has $2000 more options on it because you waited...Just FFT.
