    Road & Track Article

    I just finished the R&T article comparo of Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Chrysler, Volvo, Jaguar, and our CTS- And the winner is--the CTS. Boy do they bad rap the BMW . This issue is a must buy for all CTS owners!!!

    I've been lookin all over for it... Does it give the 0-60 and 1/4 for the CTS?

    It surely does :

    CTS 0-60 6.6
    Volvo s80 T6 6.7
    BMW 530i 7.2
    Mercedes E320 7.4
    Jaguar S Type 7.9
    Chrysler 300 8.0
    Audi A6 8.5

    Thanks... It should run better than that, some guy on 6.26 0-60 with his 3.6L...

    I haven't seen the issue/article, but I assume the Chrysler 300 was not with the hemi. Personally, I saw one o nthe road the other day and thought it looked nice for it's market segment.

    And if it was a comparo... I wonder why the 300 didn't have the hemi. For the price, it still would have been cheaper than most of those cars, and been much faster.

    Hmmmm.....

    The theme of the article was 6 cylinder fast cars. I drove the hemi. I was impressed by the car and the price. I got a better lease price on my $43m CTS than they offerred me on the $36m hemi. The article proves I made the right decision. Go spend 4 bucks on the mag while they are still around.

    It was a comparison of V6 with automatic cars. They did say the 300 was a very good value, and I agree it does look better then anything I've seen from Chrysler in a while. The prices as tested of the cars in the group ranged from $34,215 for the Chrysler to $54,120 for the BMW. The CTS tested had a sticker price of $43,880 including the 1sc package, DVD navigation and the red line prem paint.
