04 CTS 3.6 Oil Change ? (drain plug)

    Hello,

I have a 2004 CTS with the 3.6L engine. We are going to change the oil in it and found the oil filter with no problem, but the drain plug is another issue. We wanted to know if anyone can ID (either by picture or good description) where it is. Also what tool is need to unsrew it (size). Also to confirm, the oil filter uses a 15/16" socket to get it off.

    Thanks in advance,

    Jason

We found it. Its a 13mm socket that was required. We wanted to confirm that it drained to the right and not the bottom and that we were not blind.
