Found this auction. Decent price for a brand new painted CTS-V bumper cover! They got it in black & silver. Good luck!

No you would need to get a V lower grille for this bumper. The big upper grille is interchangeable with both bumpers (stock, sports, and V grilles).

Re: V bumper upgrade for black/silver CTS owners!

to do the V bumper mod you'll need more than just the bumper & lower grille.....
do a search or look in the FAQ, the parts & part numbers & costs are there.... expect a day's work + ~800-1800 in parts (depending on where & what you buy)

eh, thats not totally tru... U can avoid the brake duct thing all together and as for the fog housing brakets, Brent has a write up some where on how he worked around that.

I havent done it myself yet, so I am not gonna get into specifics... I'll let someone else chime in.

EDIT: i did find this http://www.cadillacfaq.com/faq/answers/v-frontend.html But I just talked to Jon the other day and he just did this conversion. He said the biggest pain was cutting his own brake ducts (optional).

He said nothing about:

25750634 Right Bumper Extension (new inner fender well cover)

25750635 Left Bumper Extension

25752695 Lower Air Deflector (the lower engine cover/deflector)

I never heard of anyone mention any of those parts being needed. Those are all the plastic liners under there. I am assuming these would be needed if u wanted the brake ducts to be functional. Even tho Jon cut the base CTS ones him self.

yeah the easiest thing to do is buy the sts-v brackets from someone that has done the fog conversion. (they are almost exactly the same other than the bottem brackets are longer and the nose is too

Re: V bumper upgrade for black/silver CTS owners!

LOL...I did it and the ONLY thing extra I did was change out the bracket to the STS-V bracket like brent shows above....did a little cutting of those posts, and put it all back together No extensions, or air deflectors, or anything else......Cost me $400 for the bumper already painted, and about $20 for the fog brackets(thanks again )
