Carbon Grille....

That stock grille on the classifieds, wouldn't work for me as i have blue chip. I've seen carbon fiber color clear coated to be another color aside from black and grey. What do you guys think about that?

Re: Carbon Grille....

I saw that today also. It would look neat on ANY darker colored CTS. I'm sure you can work a deal w/ him and if you don't like it at all, pay for shipping both ways and send it back.

Re: Carbon Grille....

when I did that grill I did one for my vehicle
I have radiant bromze STS, and that grill blends in so perfect. from far grill looks almost black. and stand out really good.
you cant really see it on photo, but that carbon fiber finish has a little bit of gold flakes in it,
anyway, have some left overs of CTS parts. if somebody interesting, make me an offer.

Re: Carbon Grille....

How resilient is the finish? I wouldn't want something that's going to chip/crack over time??

Re: Carbon Grille....

It's the process that is used for the fake wood by other auto manufacturers. It is durable stuff after clearcoating.
