Depends on how good your friend is.

When my dad and I do stuff we're probably much more careful than the "professionals" since we work on our own cars. We have torque wrenches to make sure everything is tigthened to spec.

Does your friend know how to work on the CTS? Just because he can change brakes on his car doesn't mean he can do it on the CTS.

oh is it...well he's been an apprentice for a while now....he also did my friends rotors but it was on an integra...

but yea...would it be better for me just to get it professionally done then (i dont think i have the time or experince to do it myself) because that sounds like a better route for me....i guess

by the way...how much and long would it take to install these PIMP rotors and pad?
