Analog Clock

Hey, I just purchased an 03 CTS a week ago. And so far I love it!! Definately an upgrade coming from a 1997 mitsubishi galant. lol Anways, I cant seem to figure out how to adjust the analog clock to the right time. Its about 20 minutes slow.. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Welcome to our world. The analog clock is known to be off from the digital one on the DIC. I had a GM tech put in the "latest" software and that did the trick...for a while. It was exactly the same as the DIC clock for months but now its about 5 minutes off again. Do yourself a favor and upgrade to an 05 or better dash and ditch the analog clock. You'll appreciate a temp gage and the chrome on the newer dash.

IMO.

More info on that? I hate the clock, and hate it even more not having a temp gauge.

rblimas has the right idea, but that price is way high - I paid about half that much. And the seller is wrong in saying it'll only work with an '05 - the newer items will work just fine with your car.

I picked mine up in an eBay action by LKQ - www.lkq.com.

One additional item. You will have to have your current unit data transferred to the replacement by SPECMO - www.specmo.com. This is required by law & also to avoid losing any warranty coverage you may have. Your dealer can handle this for you or you can deal directly with SPECMO. I had my dealer handle things & think the total cost, including cost of unit, SPECMO, & installation was about $300.
