Yeah, my buddy owns a stock. Everything I've read says 15.6, 15.7 quarter mile stock. Stock 03 runs 15.6... I've run 14.9 before. I've def. seen modded ones put in work. But they were modded heavily.

LOL @ Bluehaze. I own a pair... they aren't built the way the cars are, I'll tell you that.
The shoes have too soft of a sole, and obviously were made in a sweatshop by some Cambodian immigrants.
I prefer my nike uptowns vs the caddy kicks.
I wanted the Sixteen made. They should have made that car and sold it. They would have Bugatti beat. 1000hp (not 900 and some change), and then a full on luxury car that you can still cruise and get like 20+mph on.
And to think I was supposed to drive into PA to visit a friend of mine. Raincheck on that. Now I'll be couped in the house with the fam, waitin for this thing to blow over. And it had better be pretty serious. I don't want to have to cancel for 2 droplets of rain. LOL
We has a tornado warning this week...I got a email from my dad warning me of it asking how it was out, I replied something allong the line of its sunny and I'm on the dock fishing, he asked how long the power failure lasted earlier in the week I replied it lasted long enough for me and my bro In law to finish a 40 of crown and a 26er of rum, can't tell time with no clocks working.
The power went down because of wind knocking down a single tree that took out the whole lakes power...it was low priority so it took a while to get back up n running.

They r a bunch of cheapasses...and unless they want to put in a signal booster on every corner on my lake, ill still be out of the coverage zone.
The road into town actually has no signal for about 20 min of the drive.

These people out here are ridiculous. I went to the store for pampers for my boy and I see a million people buying gallons of water... I'm thinking... If i wanted water, I'll plug up the bathtub, and fill it with cold water... that should be good for more gallons then what anyone is buying. This hurricane better be real. Has it passed over any of *************** members here? I'm working tonight and I'll be back in the AM tomorrow, which means I'll be sleeping thru the whole shutting down of train stations, etc.
yes it's for real... might not be as bad as they are predicting (it was downgraded to a cat 2 this morning instead of building up to a cat4) but there's plenty to worry about ...
it's currently about to his me right now winds are picking up (in spurts as the bands/arms pass by) and it's been raining since noon or so ...
a lot of problems will probably arise from the areas that are under high tide when the storm surge hits them... they're saying at the current tracking it will hit NYC at high tide with at least 5 ft of storm surge which could be a problem...
we'll see
better safe than sorry is a good idiom to live by sometimes
hurricane warnings are usually put out by grocery stores bribing the news stations when they have a lot of expired food they need gone quick.
when everyone is fighting for basic food they dont look at the expiration date.

I'll be in the eastern edge of the N'east quadrant on the outer Cape (Cod) .
We will not be getting much surge or rain, but the winds will be a crapshoot .
We will either luck out or get a bad blow (yes, there is such a thing) .
Good luck to all you guys SW and S of me .
Latest reports have the storm degrading a bit but slowing down .
The reason I'm saying it had better be for real is not because I want trouble, but I cancelled a very very important thing this weekend because of this, and I would feel ridiculously cheated if it was overhyped and all it does is mild rain, and meanwhile, I won't be able to catch up with my plans until another couple weeks, almost a month from now.
How's every1 holding up?
I saw a lot of rain and wind on the tv...no damage reports.
Hope every1 is alright.
And once all Is safe some pics of what's really going on would be nice...the news kept shoing 1 short clip of a sailboat getting rained on.
I was under the impression it added flavor, Jimmy?
Either way, I have some water purifier tabs, and a brita and pur water filters. Better then buying gallons.
thanks, and it's weird that we lost power... there's no visible major damage in the neighborhood or around town as i was riding over to another friend's house this afternoon
my car did look like it got a camouflage make over though
(i couldn't bear to bring my self to take a picture)
most times when I read these stories I find myself wanting to high five the kid involved, but not this time...whoa.
