Planning on having them hooked up on Thurs at my friends. I do have a question, I bought a LOC and I'm wondering if I can just tap into the 2 spots on the Bose sub to get the sound output? The LOC says it can handle up to 80watts and I believe I read that the stock amp puts out about 50watts or so.

That's exactly what I did. Saved a lot of wiring up to the front. After almost two years of having subs though, they have destroyed my stock sub. (bandpass box) this may not happen since your's looks to be sealed, but I need to remove mine because all it does is rattle haha.

Awesome! They are ported but its just a small hole in the back behind each sub for the wires to come out off. Looks the majority of the work is going to be running the wire to the battery. Unless there's an easy way around that as well?

Well, it's fairly easy to run the cord until you get to the front of the cabin. I paid a guy to cut a whole in mine because I was too chicken to take a drill to my baby. But, you can always go the ricer route and just run it through the corner of the door up into the engine compartment. I did that in my old car, just used some shrink wrap to protect the wire where it would be contacted...Not the right way, but it was cheap and it worked just fine. (probably get flamed for that one) I can get a couple pics of where my wire is routed and pm you with them.

That would be awesome man. I just spent my lunch break (I don't normally do anything anyways) starting the tear down.

Nice. You should dynomat it while your at it haha. Make sure you run the power wire along the passenger side of the car and any input wires you run up front in the middle or driver side. You don't want to put them together because it could cause interference.

I'm just going to be running the power up that side and I may dynamat it in the future depending on the sound, wasn't all that hard to do what I just did. Also where should I put the remote amp wire? I've read multiple different places but seeing as you are fairly active on here I'd like your input.

There are some mixed ones for the V. None for the 3.6 and 2.8, but they share the same fuel tank as the V, so fuel pump removal, access door, etc... should all be very very similar.

Re: 24 Hour Random Spam Discussion Thread

Got them all hooked up and set up! We found a rubber gromet on the passenger side that we were able to run the power to and we hid the wire in the trim along the bottom. You can't see any of the wires at all and it sounds great. I wired the remote switch into the cubby hole in the back of the center console under the rear lighter outlet. I plan on making a short video showing how it all turned out eventually. I don't have much of a voltage drop either (gets down to 13.1 sometimes when at a stop)
