so i went for a long ride today stopped at my friends house and parked on the sidewalk. i put my helmet on the license plate (about knee high) and it fell off onto the grass. there were a few pebbles that chipped the paint on it in 3 small spots, but its a rubber paint kinda like plastidip and it looks super easy to chip/scratch.

is this going to damage the structure of the helmet?? i sure hope not because its a shoe rf-1100 and it retails for $660 here......

never mind...getting it x-rayed across the street for free....back in 10 min.
A small drop is fine... Multiple times even. But higher drops such as head height, replace it.

Middle is ABS if you pump it. Right is both traction control and stability.

Re: 24 Hour Random Spam Discussion Thread

someone invent me a motorcycle jacket that has a heater and a/c built into it.
this morning riding into work i almost went in a t-shirt, looked at the temp out and threw on a mesh jacket with a liner. my legs were cold, body was ok.
coming home, i left the liner at work and just threw on the mesh with armor, left my bag, actually left everything except wallet and keys...i was sweating like crazy.
all this technology and no jacket with heat and cool...come on!

Mesh jackets are great at speed. They don't do much in gridlock.

i dont like what my buddy did with his rear brake, but hes been riding like this for about 12,000km so i guess its ok.
he removed the rear master cylinder tank and put a clear rubber hose on with a bolt in the top as a cap...it sits more flush with the frame, and apparently its a common mod for the cbr.
