Negative on STB. Mine is a 2003 and it won't fit with my hood.

I think that is for the VEE or vette. It won't fit our cars.

Lol... I am getting ready to move and do the same to my garage floor before I roll out. I plan on using an electric power washer to do the job. Not too much psi.

Re: 24 Hour Random Spam Discussion Thread

i have 2 broken power washers...so i just sprayed it on used a broom to spread it where i needed it let it sit a few min then scrubbed a little then hosed it out.
my hose is fairly high pressure though, i bought a nozzle that was advertised as for cars because it was solid metal, and this thing shoots water about 30 feet.

the 2003's cant use the stb unless i cut out the skeleton in the hood and find 1 that fits over my manifold.
besides, the stb is to stiffen up the frame from it flexing. i think they are more useful in road course races. i like the suspension and sway bars because you actually notice a big difference. the highways i drive on have long wide turns, its great going home from work blowing past everyone with little effort when they all slow down.

couple days ago some a-hole almost hit my car when he cut me off getting on the highway, he was driving like a pissed off teenager, so every time he would go around 1 car i would pull up and box him back in so he couldnt pass the next one. eventually it got to a point that i boxed him onto a lane that was a off ramp....bye bye.

Re: 24 Hour Random Spam Discussion Thread

ok i need some help from the more experienced motorcycle guys here...

so i went for a long ride today stopped at my friends house and parked on the sidewalk. i put my helmet on the license plate (about knee high) and it fell off onto the grass. there were a few pebbles that chipped the paint on it in 3 small spots, but its a rubber paint kinda like plastidip and it looks super easy to chip/scratch.

is this going to damage the structure of the helmet?? i sure hope not because its a shoe rf-1100 and it retails for $660 here......

never mind...getting it x-rayed across the street for free....back in 10 min.

They say even the slightest bump alters the structure of the impact foam inside. I question that though. Part of me thinks it's just the helmet companies trying to get you to buy a new helmet every time you drop yours. Who's to say that helmet was never dropped at the manufacturing facility? The warehouse? Distribution guys? Retail stores?

    helmet is all good.
i guess it was grass it landed on after all.. i cant believe that happened. good thing the scuffs are in the graphic part and really well hidden.

Jay Leno has a youtube clip that says it has to fall with 13+lbs of pressure and have 4-5kg in it or something like that.

btw - after about 4 hrs on her today i decided i need a more comfortable seat that doesnt press my tail bone...man im sore.

Mike, I'm hoping to have that shipped out to ya next week. I'm a bit tied up until then, especially with Labor day coming up. BBQing it up out here.

Anyone wanna hazard a guess at the engine and name any mods you see on this?
