Out of your 9" rear end joke? LOL

I gotta get an aftermarket clutch before I decide to hit the track again. The stock clutch is good for driving around, but... its not holding up. LOL
    Hows the 'maro?

You should look into the LS7 clutch. Everyone who has put one on a V1 raves about it. Lindsay sells a kit. Or used to. Not sure if they still do.

The shifter on the Camaro is almost as bad as the V. The clutch just plains sucks. Worst clutch I have ever driven. And it's an understeering pig. It is no V. Let me tell you. It is however, believe it or not, much quieter, and much smoother than the V. And more comfortable, yet more supportive seats. Whodathunkit?

LOL I was thinking LS7, but since my few track runs, I'm going to go with something a bit more track-worthy. Driving back to NYC from E-town, I could almost feel the clutch's pain. LOL

I would believe that. The V was and is just a clunkbox. LOL Push the clutch in to change to another gear from a gear, and clunk. Go from first to 4th via CAGS, and clunk. The stock shifter was purely trash. I replaced it. I stopped caring about the ride quality and noise a while ago... headers with no cats and cutouts, UMI motor mounts with CS trans, BMR wheelhop kit... the entire thing is solid on turns, vibrates quite a bit in the 2k-2500rpm region, but is performing a bit better and is a bit less clunky now. BMR trailing arm brace seems to have worked better as a type of sway bar then as a wheelhop reducer. It reduced the wheelhop a bit, but I've noticed the car has felt a bit more solid with it on.

Definitely a trade-off between ride quality and dynamics. I can live with a crappy ride for the V's blissful handling.

i know someone is going to flame me for this..but...

i made it from work to my cottage in 1hr25min its suppose to be a 2.5hr drive. i had to slow down for construction at one point, but i averaged 130km/hr with a max of 149..(this is why i dont drive a CTS-V...i would loose my car, and license....although now i want 1 again..)

then me and my friends on their sport bikes left at the same time and i beat them to their house.
    i was in my CTS
    new speed record!

Gaetano came up yesterday and did some fishing too.

    so...
dropped on eibachs, V sways and 245/35/20 on dirt roads..

Looks like the forthcoming Chevrolet Super Sport. Supposedly, "SS" is going to be its only name. I didn't even think they had test mules out there yet. Though I have not been paying close attention. Where was that taken?

As for the engine, the rumors are that it will have some version of the forthcoming LT1.

Re: 24 Hour Random Spam Discussion Thread

We could use the rebirth of the G8. It was bad ass in its time, and would still be as long as the pricing can be kept a bit under the competition... and it can have a few more horses. LOL
