you got lucky beating that rain.

i just went out about 2 hours ago (my morning burst of energy quickly faded and i passed out and slept all day..) i went to go see this girl and as i was getting outside i was 50-50 on if it was going to rain or not...decided to take the bike anyway (didnt rain).
nice ride down to her place. her and her parents heard me coming and ran out front to see it...i guess my pipes are loud lol.

^ Time to set up the dual!

I just now finished my CS trans mount, all 4 sway bushings, 2 front wheel hubs, fuel filter, and a BMR anti wheel hop kit.
I have a diff bushing, diff block, and shifter bushings... but I may hold on to those until I have to drop the trans for a much better clutch. Maybe stage 2, etc... since the exhaust and drivetrain would have to be dropped down anyway.

Seeing as how this is a random thread ...
Went to the range today; fired half a box of rounds through the model 1873 MAS 11mm revolver I scored a month ago .
Great fun to shoot a 134 year old firearm .
    Stoked !

lets see a pic of that!

i was at the range yesterday, i put about 2-300 rounds rounds through a 1952 Russian SKS using surplus ammo. 13cants a shot with more kick than a .223 its fun to shoot for the price.
my friend brought me a Colt AR15 to shoot, and 2 diferent Norinco CQ-A (AR15). i likes the Chinese Norinco better than the Colt...but thats partially because the colt was throwing the brass right in my face and it had iron sights vs the red dot and the scope on the Norinco's.
i think im going to buy the norinco in the next few weeks...it works great, looks awesome and is only $700

It's in the Post Your Weapons thread in the lounge; page 110, post #1647 .
I think you saw it .

My friend's S&W MP on the other hand felt pretty squirrely; made me a bit nervous .
Trigger pull was a bit light for my taste .

actually ya i think i remember it now..ill take another peak.

i just got my letter in the mail for the approved transfer.. just got a Sig P226 9mm...much cheaper to shoot than my Sig P220 .45auto

light triggers are amazing! try shooing the CZ Shadow. i think its a 3lb trigger from factory. my 1 friend always double tapps it by accident, but that thing is probably the most accurate pistol ive ever shot.

Yah, my friend was all like: "just your fingertip on the trigger" with the MP ...

I dunno; there's something very deliberate in using a single/double action revolver .
You thumb that hammer back or just pull the trigger like a cap gun .
I also found the kilo weight of the '73 MAS kind of reassuring; helped steady my aim .
I did much better w/the MAS 11mm than the SW 9 MP as far as accuracy .

Then again, I'm an old fart .

    And, yah, I know :
French Service Revolver ... only dropped once .

Re: 24 Hour Random Spam Discussion Thread

    Rims are on finally!
Stupid me dropped off the 2 tires and rims to be mounted and went through the car wash..the second I pulled in I thought ahh crap...my rims are dirty as hell.
So now I have to wash the rims. Just got in the car to buy rim cleaner, and now its raining...wft this car just wants to be dirty...I give up

    edit -
well all my crappy suspension problems seem to be resolved just by putting my 20" rims back on.
proof that the cts shouldn't be on small wheels.

Speaking of suspension, I've basically finished a small overhaul on the V suspension.

UMI motor mounts, CS trans mount, BMR cradle bushings and the trailing arm brace, new sway bar bushings both front and back, and replaced 2 front hubs because the bearings were shot. Took it to the track...

Wheelhop is reduced a good amount... Copious amounts of tire spin is there... even into 4th gear.

crazy thing is most these cars are becoming worth more in parts than as a whole.

I don't launch hard enough to warrant $4k+ in a rear end.
