ya the harley 883 is a slow bike, but it looks identical to the 1200, and you can buy a 1200 and a 1250 bore kit for it.
so the 883 accepts all the aftermarket parts that fit the 1200.
ive heard the new (2008 i think) ninja 250cc's are peppy little bikes, but they just cant do the highway. the tires are really skinny, they look good from the front, but from the back it looks funny. its classified as a scooter.

i would love a VRod. they look AMAZING. ive seen a few fairly cheap lately too...but im not crazy.

The Vrod engine is amazing. That's their race bred engine and it's a real engine. Unlike the rest of their over square breathless mills. But it doesn't sound like a Harley so to Harley guys its a crotch rocket.

An experienced rider on a ninja 250 will embarrass a squid on a liter bike.

Whenever I think of bikes, i think of this vid.
I can't do it. I can't do bikes. Probably because everyone I've seen with one has been in a cast more then once. LOL

So the VSOP will have to wait.
I'm getting insane misfires on my CTS today.
Ran the codes and it said only cyl #3 so I'm going to change the coil pack, on the 3.2 the coil pack does 3 cylinders. And I bet its not cheap.

Anyone know what bank cyl 3 is on? And is it driver side or passenger side?

Cyl 3 is on the passenger side.
I've got the coil pack coming in today, and CAA is picking me and my car up from work and taking me home.
Fingers crossed this is all I need.

Did you even look before ordering the coil pack ? Isn't it the 3.2 that leaks oil from the valve cover into the number three sparkplug well ?

Re: 24 Hour Random Spam Discussion Thread

It is the one that leaks, but mine are new. They usually leak out then into the plugs, but from what I've seen its usually the plugs closest to the firewall that get the most oil, and I've never heard of misfiring from it.

I didn't check, I'm @ work pretending to be bussy while I'm really ordering parts, booking towtrucks, having coffee, and looking @ new cars and bikes online. I have 250+ emails waiting for reply from my week off...I may get to them next week..

I have most definately seen misfiring from it mentioned here. So you didn't look, eh ? Maybe the valve cover loosened up again.

Re: 24 Hour Random Spam Discussion Thread

just for the record.... IM A EVIL PHYSIC GENIUS !!

coil pack blew and fried on cyl 3, passenger side bank, it cracked off when i pulled it off the plug, and burnt wires crumbled out. i vacuumed it out, then pulled the plug and cleaned it up.
im going to have to change the plugs, that one is really bad, where the coil pack attaches to it was all burnt white, but i sanded it so its all good now.

GM shop time is 2-2.5 hours. i did it in 1hour 20 min including looking for my shoes, looking for my tools because i didnt put them away after fixing my hid ballast (crap just remembered my fog still isnt plugged in...another day will come) and diagnosing a whistle that turned out to be pinched air hose.
i think i win this round GM

i did the valve covers, with the GM gaskets, and with gasket maker, then added a pcv catch can to stop moisture from getting in there which causes the lift in the valve covers, and added GM "fix" service bulletin.....basically.. i fixed GM's design flaw with a $20 catch can...
whem i had it all apart it was all dry... no oil spillage. .

As soon as the new coil pack arrives, you are back in business. Good for you.
