better than "my factory HIDs blew out so i want to switch to halogen but the bulbs wont fit, and i cant find the plug for the wires"

btw, it is possible, just have to splice into the power in to the oem ballast and add a adapter for the halogen bulbs (very easy) and then the expensive part is buying the new headlight housings.

Let me preempt the questions right now.

Yes, aftermarket HID will blind oncoming drivers.

No, purple HIDs do not look cool.

everyone around here has aftermarket hids now... you get use to it.
in the cts with projecgtors, its not bad, but in the civics... its horrible.

my friend has a early g35 coupe (i think its a 02 or 03... first year they made it) and he has OEM hid's without projectors. i thought it was kinda weird but thats how they made them.

I hate projectors. I hate the sharp cutoff. Like driving into a wall of black. I miss reflector lights and their gradual falloff.

i like projectors way better. probably because of the sharp cut off. less glare in snow, more light where you want it. i dont need bursts of light all over the place, only where im pointing. my fog lights throw the light left and right.

Question... Can anyone with a 2.8 or 3.6 engine (or preferabbly a TB in hand) measure out the throttle body opening? Is it a 2.5"? 3"? This would require unclamping the hose from the TB.

so i honestly didnt think this would pass... we no longer have to register non-restricted firearms.
doesnt matter to me if the registry exists or doesnt, all it means is 1 less piece of paper i have to remember to carry when im hunting.

Re: 24 Hour Random Spam Discussion Thread

Those who wanted to keep it were defeated by their own claims.
Cost effective - its cost billions of dollers and the cost keeps going up
Accuracy- I know people the worked on the registry, and they inputted data for a long time (2+ months) with the wrong info...
Police can use it before entering a house with a warrent- every cop I've talked to says " we assume all criminals are armed in their houses, legal guns are usually locked up" one said he's only checked it 2x before breaching a door.
If it would have been done correctly to begin with sure, but it wasn't...

I bet gun sales go up in canada starting today...I've read online about a lot of people just waiting for this to pass before buying their next long gun.
