Some people are just ignorant, and some just don't care. I thought it was close enough to you that you might want to make a quick buck flipping it. Working midnight shift tonight ?

There's a guy in the V1 section trying to sell his V for about 9k. It would be well worth it, as it has front end damage which is all exterior, and the engine is still in perfect shape.

That's still cheap for a V-6, 2006. Makes me think there's still something wrong with it

X I appreciate you watching for me. I'm not in a place where I can buy another car anyway! If I could it would be something classic I can take to carshows come spring

Reminds me of that guy in England a few years ago with the jet turbine in a Rolls. He used to terrorize the countryside nightly.
Became somewhat of a Folk Hero.
Took the cops a while to catch him.

If the trunk was full of ammo, I wonder where he hid the Crack Ho's ?

Guns and explosives discovered in scrapyard Cadillac

Surrey RCMP say they're trying to solve a mystery that saw bags full of explosives and guns turn up in the trunk of an aging Cadillac last fall.

According to a summary of the investigation contained in a search warrant, the 1995 Deville turned up at a Surrey scrap yard in October.

Employees called police when they discovered a suitcase and duffel bag in the trunk. Inside, they found five sticks of industrial explosives, a sub-machine gun, two shotguns and three handguns.

"It is very rare to come across explosives in investigations," says Surrey RCMP Cpl. Drew Grainger.

"We have identified some persons of interest that continue to be investigated by our serious crime unit with this matter."

The search for suspects in the Surrey case comes amid growing concerns about the number of incidents in BC involving explosives.

Earlier this week, RCMP in Whistler said they were trying to find the people responsible for blowing up a motor home in a targeted attack last month.

According to the search warrant, one of the shotguns found in the trunk was reported stolen at a break and enter in Langley last year. Two of the guns were loaded with ammunition and police also found a magazine clip for a sub-machine gun, binoculars and a silencer.

During the course of their investigation, the court documents claim RCMP traced the Cadillac back to a parking stall at a Burnaby condo complex. The property manager called a towing company after a resident complained the beige vehicle had no license plates, was parked without permission and appeared to be leaking oil.

The building manager had the vehicle towed away October 14th. Three days later, he saw a building resident who he believed to be the vehicle's owner and gave him the towing company's business card. The tow truck driver later told police he got a call that same day from a man who asked him how he might retrieve the vehicle.

That was Oct. 17 - the day employees at Amix Recycling discovered the cache of weapons in the trunk. On the same afternoon, a scrap yard employee said a young man came to the office and asked, "Have you seen a Cadillac. Do you know if it's here or if it's been crushed?"

Police interviewed the registered owner of the vehicle, who claimed he sold the Cadillac on Craigslist 10 months ago, but had no copies of the transfer paper.

Grainger says police are anxious to get to the bottom of the mystery.

"There is the speculation that particularly the explosive material could have been used for some nefarious activity and it's in our interest at the very least to try and gather some intelligence as to what that nefarious activity might have been tended towards."
